These terms govern your use of HopeHire (hopehire.in and any related apps or browser extensions), operated by Sushant Rana (“HopeHire,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using HopeHire, you agree to these terms. For how we handle your data specifically, see the Privacy Policy.

What HopeHire does

HopeHire is an AI agent that finds people at companies you're targeting who can refer or hire you, and sends personalized outreach on your behalf using your connected Gmail account. It also rewrites your resume for ATS compatibility and helps you track replies.

Your account

• You need a Google account to sign in. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must provide accurate information — your real resume, real job preferences. HopeHire's outreach is only as good as what you give it, and sending false information to recruiters on your behalf could hurt you and us.
• One account per person.

Authorizing outreach on your behalf

This is the core of what you're agreeing to: by connecting Gmail and enabling any outreach feature (manual send, Daily Outreach, Autopilot, or auto-reply), you authorize HopeHire to send emails from your Gmail account, using AI-generated content, to third parties (recruiters, hiring managers) without your review of each individual message, subject to the settings you configure (minimum match score, grace period, on/off toggles). You can disable any of these at any time in Profile settings, and doing so stops future automated sends immediately — it does not recall messages already sent.

You're responsible for the outreach sent under your name and email address, including AI-generated content, once you've enabled a feature that sends automatically. We build the AI to write accurate, relevant emails based on your resume and the job post, but we don't guarantee the content will always be perfectly accurate — review your outreach settings and history periodically.

AI-generated content

Resume rewrites, ATS scores, extracted job and recruiter details, and outreach emails are generated by AI models (see the Privacy Policy for which providers). AI output can be wrong. We don't guarantee that an ATS score reflects any specific employer's actual filtering system, that a recruiter contact extracted from a LinkedIn post is accurate or current, or that outreach content is free of errors. Review anything AI-generated before relying on it, especially when a feature isn't set to fully automatic.

Fees and credits

HopeHire is free to start. Some features (like Referral Hunts) may be limited by a credit system, which you can increase by referring other users. We'll clearly communicate before introducing any paid tier or changing how credits work.

Acceptable use

Don't use HopeHire to:

• Send outreach that is false, impersonates someone else, or misrepresents your qualifications
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse HopeHire's own systems
• Use the service for anything illegal, or to harass, spam, or defraud third parties
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or credit systems

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate this, with notice where the violation is fixable, or immediately for serious violations (fraud, illegal use, abuse of other users or third parties).

Intellectual property

We own HopeHire's code, design, and branding. You own your resume content and data. By using HopeHire, you grant us a limited license to process your resume and profile data as needed to provide the service (parsing, rewriting, generating outreach) — nothing more.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these terms, with 14 days' notice to cure a fixable breach, or immediately for serious violations. On termination, your right to use HopeHire ends; data is handled per the Privacy Policy's retention and deletion terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

HopeHire is provided “as is.” We don't guarantee it will get you hired, that any specific recruiter will respond, or that AI-generated content will be error-free. We're not responsible for the accuracy of scraped LinkedIn content or the actions of third parties (recruiters, Google, Gmail) outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of HopeHire, including missed job opportunities, outreach that doesn't get a response, or content sent under automated settings you enabled. Our total liability for any claim is capped at what you've paid us in the past 12 months, or the minimum required by law if HopeHire was free for you.

Indemnification

You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of the service, or false information you provided that HopeHire then used in outreach on your behalf.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled in courts with jurisdiction under applicable law.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the update here with a new “Last updated” date; continued use after that means you accept the changes.
